Mariana Ayón

My name is Mariana, and I am a Spanish teacher with over 10 years of experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Literature and a Master’s degree in History.
I am committed to providing a dynamic and practical learning experience for my students. My approach focuses on developing both fluency and comprehension, while creating a comfortable and motivating environment.
My methodology consists of one-hour sessions: 30 minutes dedicated to conversation, where students practice speaking naturally, and 30 minutes focused on reading, which helps strengthen comprehension and expand vocabulary.
During class, we also work consistently on grammar and pronunciation, integrating them into practical activities so that learning is meaningful. If you have a specific goal in terms of professional vocabulary, we can definitely tailor the content to your needs.
My goal is for each student to gain confidence when communicating in Spanish and to enjoy the process of learning a new language.
I strive to create a space where each student feels comfortable participating, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace, understanding that errors are a fundamental part of the process.
Through meaningful conversations and readings, we explore topics that enrich the learning experience. I also adapt the content based on each student’s interests and goals, ensuring the process is relevant and motivating. My intention is to create a space where learning Spanish becomes a stimulating, human, and transformative experience.
