Here we are again, September is just around the corner and classes are about to start again and with that teachers, students and parents will return to their daily routine activities for the rest of the school year. Indeed, I have been asked to write an article about the importance of setting study goals, the type of goals a student should set and where students can find support to achieve their goals. The following essay takes a look at this interesting teaching period, and according to my experience, I will let you know some secrets to success spotless.
First and foremost, after having enjoyed a one-month holiday time I am thoroughly aware that for some students it may turn out hard to come back to school and deal with classes and assignments. On the other hand, there are many of them who look forward to seeing their mates again and share with them whatever they want. Nevertheless, besides likes and dislikes that students could have, the most important thing they must focus just from the beginning of the classes are the academic outcomes they are going to get to the end of the year. Therefore, I consider essential that from the very beginning they worry in not procrastinate tasks, and steadily go over the subjects their teachers explain, i.e., on a daily basis.
Another point worth noting is the type of goals they should set, which must lead to growing up not only as exceptional students but also as role model citizen, the kind of men and women this society need to fill its pages in history. Furthermore, I want students to know that they can rely on teachers to find the support they need to succeed, and they have to take advantage of new technologies which are increasingly improving our lifestyles, largely due to the barrage of superb information we can find out there.
